A Telecommunications Field Technician telecommunications Field Service Technician installs, repairs and maintains voice, data and video systems for a company's customers at the customer site. Prepares and documents a customer's network prior to implementing telecommunication system. Installs IP, network equipment and facilities. Acts as the first point of issue resolution, responds to field engineering issues and troubleshooting telecommunication problems. May train less experienced field technicians.

Working Conditions Our Field Technicians work outdoors, utilizing hand tools in a variety of environments. Enjoy the independence and confidence that comes with providing support and technical solutions to high-end customers. Required Qualifications Education High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience. License Valid Driver's license with safe driving record within company standards required. Schedule Ability to travel (including during inclement weather) to and from assigned customer premises, company facilities and other locations as necessary. Language Fluent in English. Experience Must be a Field Technician V and must have completed courses for Field Technician VI. Physical Walk over various terrains and weather conditions while carrying tools and equipment. Safely use weight-bearing equipment (up to 345 lbs) and lift up to 75 lbs. Climb ladders up to 32 feet and work in confined spaces and at heights. Operate and navigate a company vehicle in changing environments. Work with small components and wires. Work outdoors for extended periods in any season and inclement weather. Preferred Qualifications Technical Knowledge Understanding of Spectrum products and services. Certifications NCTI Master Technician Certification, HFC Networks Certification, or SCTE Business Class Service Specialist. Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician Certification, or Cisco Certified Network Associate. #
