Naval Medical Center San Diego Location:

Rotating shifts, Sunday-Saturday A to Z Management Consulting is seeking experienced Pharmacy Technicians to support Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) and associated Naval Branch Health Clinics throughout the San Diego area. Schedule Pharmacy services are provided Sunday through Saturday between 6:00 AM and 11:30 PM . Shifts are generally 8.5 to 11 hours , including an unpaid 30- or 60-minute meal period. Employees will not be scheduled for more than 80 hours in a two-week period . Employees may have a primary work location but must be willing to support other NMCSD pharmacy locations as needed, including Kearney Mesa, NAB Coronado, MCAS Miramar, NTC, and Eastlake. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an ASHP-accredited pharmacy technician program, other formal pharmacy technician program, or U.S. military medical services training program; OR Current, active PTCB certification At least 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience within the past 3-4 years Responsibilities Process and prepare new and refill prescriptions Count, label, and prepare medications for dispensing Enter prescription orders into pharmacy systems Maintain patient and prescription records Support inventory, ordering, stocking, and restocking Perform drug storage inspections and review expired supplies Produce workload and quality documentation Utilize pharmacy computer and robotic systems Assist patients with general pharmacy questions and refer clinical concerns to the pharmacist The requirement specifically includes prescription processing, dispensing support, inventory management, quality improvement activities, supply duties, and pharmacy computer/robotic systems.
Pay:
$23.82 - $32.00 per hour
