Why This Role? This isn't just another mechanic job. Every day brings something different—from diagnosing electrical issues and installing accessories to performing complete cart rebuilds and preparing custom vehicles for delivery. What You'll Do You'll inspect, diagnose, repair, maintain, and customize electric and gas golf carts while ensuring every customer receives a reliable, high-quality vehicle. Diagnostics & Repairs Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues Perform routine maintenance and preventative service Repair electric and gas-powered golf carts Troubleshoot batteries, charging systems, controllers, motors, and wiring Use diagnostic equipment including multimeters and ohmmeters Complete warranty and manufacturer repairs Installations & Customization Install customer upgrades including: Lift kits Wheels & tires LED lighting Sound systems Windshields Rear seats Enclosures Lithium battery upgrades Accessories and performance upgrades Shop Operations Perform quality inspections before delivery Maintain accurate repair orders and service documentation Keep work areas clean and organized Follow all safety procedures Assist teammates when needed Communicate repair recommendations with service advisors and management What Success Looks Like Successful technicians: Diagnose problems accurately Complete repairs efficiently Produce high-quality work Minimize comebacks Stay organized Take pride in every vehicle Work safely Contribute to a positive team environment You're a Great Fit If You Are Dependable Mechanically inclined Detail-oriented Honest Self-motivated Coachable Team-oriented Organized Customer-focused Willing to learn new technologies QualificationsRequired 1+ year of mechanical repair experience Valid driver's license Basic hand tools (specialty shop tools provided) Strong troubleshooting skills Ability to lift 50+ pounds Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Golf cart experience Automotive technician experience Powersports, motorcycle, marine, RV, or small engine experience Electrical diagnostic experience Welding or fabrication experience Battery and lithium system knowledge Manufacturer certification (preferred but not required) Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Performance incentives Paid training W-2 employment Career advancement opportunities Benefits 401(k) 401(k) Matching Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Paid Training Employee Discount Career Advancement Opportunities Why Join Our Team?
