Marine Technician/ Detailer

Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Marine Technician/Detailer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and detailing boats/ motorcylces. Your skills will help deliver quality our customers have come to expect. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced marine systems, apply your mechanical and electrical skills, and contribute to a team dedicated to excellence in marine maintenance. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on marine engines, propulsion systems, and electrical systems using schematics and technical drawings. Conduct maintenance on Boats/Motorcycles including mechanical systems repair and electrical troubleshooting. Utilize hand tools, power tools, calipers, soldering equipment, and precision measuring instruments to execute repairs accurately. Interpret technical schematics and diagrams to diagnose issues with marine electrical and mechanical systems effectively. Engage in assembly, rigging, and installation of marine components. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections following operational procedures. Assist in delivery and pick up of units Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician or marine mechanic with a strong background in water transportation equipment maintenance. Knowledge of marine engine repair, propulsion systems maintenance, and boat electrical systems maintenance. Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, electrical diagnostics, and interpreting engineering troubleshooting guides. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, soldering techniques, sheet metal work, and heavy lifting. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience in diesel mechanics and vehicle maintenance. Ability to perform electrical diagnostics using ohmmeters and other testing instruments; experience with marine electrical troubleshooting is preferred. Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.

$20.00 - $40.00 per hour
