Florida Stabilizers is an Elite Dealer of Seakeeper gyroscopic stabilizers and is solely dedicated to the installation, service, and maintenance of Seakeepers. Seakeepers eliminate boat roll on vessels 23' and larger. Job Description The Seakeeper Technician role is for a mobile technician who is dispatched daily to conduct annual maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of Seakeepers. He or she will also be responsible for supporting new Seakeeper installations and testing the system to ensure functionality. The ideal candidate is independent, responsible, organized, and hard-working, with prior experience as a technician/mechanic preferred. Marine industry experience is a plus but not required. We'll teach you everything you need to know through hands-on training as well as training provided by Seakeeper. Pay is very competitive!Job duties include:
Conduct and document annual service of Seakeepers Troubleshoot and repair Seakeepers Support installation of new Seakeepers and set-up/test/commission new systems Keep service kits clean and organized Maintain the highest standards of safety, quality of work, personal presentation, vehicle presentation, and uphold the reputation of Florida Stabilizers and Seakeeper Travel locally, with occasional regional travel expected Qualifications and preferred skills 3+ years of relevant experience, with experience in marine industry or other service / maintenance fields a plus. Must have a valid driver's license with no restrictions Strong communication skills, as customer interaction is an important part of the job Comfortable working in tight spaces in boatsJob Type:
