Job Description
Dockhand and Marine Mechanic Helper in Fort Walton Beach. Will train the right person. We're a fast-paced watersports operation on the Fort Walton Beach waterfront and we're looking for a reliable, hardworking Dockhand and Marine Mechanic Helper to join the crew. Experience is preferred — but we'll absolutely train someone who shows up, works hard, and wants to build a real future in the marine industry. What you'll be doing: Performing routine maintenance, inspections, and basic repairs on our watercraft fleet Keeping equipment clean, fueled, and ready to go every single day Assisting with docking, launching, and general dock operations Flagging issues early and communicating clearly with the team before small problems become big ones Pitching in wherever needed — long days, busy seasons, and the occasional curveball included Who you are: Dependable — we need people who show up on time, every time, ready to work Willing to learn and take direction without an attitude about it Some small engine or mechanical experience — marine is a bonus, but not required Welding experience is a plus Available to work weekends, holidays, and occasional late nights when the job calls for it A team player who takes pride in doing things right, not just doing them fast $15-$20/hour based on experience, plus tips. Hands-on training, real mentorship, and room to grow with a company that's going places.
