IS A PART-TIME POSITION BUT WILL REQUIRE 32+ HOURS THE FIRST 3 WEEKS OF AUGUST. ONCE SCHOOL STARTS ON AUGUST 20TH HOURS WILL DROP AND ALLOW MORE FLEXIBILITY. MUST HAVE A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD, BE ABLE TO DRIVE A MOTOR SCOOTER, BE ABLE TO DRIVE A PICK-UP, AND PULL A TRAILER AROUND TOWN TO PICK-UP SCOOTERS. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Technician AssistantMission:
To back up the technicians, advisors, and sales team to deliver the Ultimate Customer Experience. Primary Responsibilities • Working toward the vision of the company and doing so by living up to the core values. Store Prep and Teardown [Including but not limited to:] • Prepare the outside of the dealership to open (including but not limited to): Pull out new scooters to display blocks in rocks. Pull out new and used inventory to be displayed in front of the building. Put all scooters safely away without rubbing/damaging the product at the end of the day. Completely organize and clean the service department and your service area. Completely clean outside lots to ensure they are free of trash and cardboard. Scooter Basics • Prepare sold scooters and perform PDI (pre-delivery inspections). Assemble crated scooters for display in the showroom and assist sales department with keeping the showroom full. Complete check-sheets with new scooter purchasers and teach them how to operate their new scooter.
First Service Items:
Oil Changes, Gear Oil Changes, Tire pressure, Cleaning Test drive scooters. Storage prep and re-prep. Warehouse • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse Service Counter Assistance •Check-in customers who are dropping off scooters for service. Addresses all customer's concerns related to the customer's scooter. Creates LightSpeed work orders for customer. Inputs customer information into Dealer Service Pro for any scooter service drop-off. Listens to customer's descriptions of vehicle symptoms, clarifies the description of problems, inspects the vehicle during check-in, and puts all information into service repair order. Check out customers who are picking up scooters from service. Ensure that the service counter is clean and 100% stocked. Walk-In Services •Completing Walk-In Service Appointments Minor repair work: Keep as much 'basic work' off service technician's hands as possible.
These include:
Basic services: oil changes, gear oil flushes, tune-ups, and more.
Transmission services:
variator, clutch, and belt replacements. Tire replacement.
Brake work:
pads, rotors, cables, and hydraulic systems.
Cables:
brake cables, throttle cables, and others.
Fuel system repairs:
fuel tanks, fuel lines, filters, and carburetors. Exhaust systems and upgrades. Driving Responsibilities •Picking up scooters in need of repair from customers. Delivering repaired scooters back to customers. Delivering new scooters purchased to customers as requested. Completing check-sheets with new scooter purchasers at the time of drop off to ensure their safety and the correct operation of their new scooter. Ensuring the accuracy of SROs (Service Repair Orders) Checking to make sure all information on repair orders is accurate at the time of pickup: Name, Address, Phone Number, Scooter Make, Model, Color, VIN, License Plate, etc. Messaging customers upon picking up their scooter to inform them that it is now in our possession. Transporting cardboard, scrap metal, old scooters, tires, etc. to recycle / scrap yards. Ensures that truck and trailer are clean inside and out and are being properly maintained and informs management when issues need to be addressed. Who is perfect for this job? Someone "entry level" in technician work. Someone that has experience pulling a trailer behind a pick-up truck. Someone that loves to interact with customers and teach how the products we sell function. Someone who loves working with their hands and loves working on their "toys" (ATVs, dirt bikes, cars, motorcycles, lawn mowers, etc.) Someone that is not afraid to get dirty or sweat. We are especially interested in someone that has experience working with e-scooters.

Missing a shift and/or being late will impact your ability to grow within the company Constant cleanliness of shop: If a manager walks through the dealership and has to clean up something noticeable (spill, boxes in the warehouse, trash outside or in the service department, etc.), it will be notated and docked against you.

Level 1-2: $14/hr Level 3 •: $15/hr Level 4: After mastering all the above for 6 months, then $16/hr Level 5: Start training as a technician at $18/billable hour flat-rate.
