Liberty Cart Company, LLC- Panama City Beach, FL Liberty Cart Company is a local family owned, rapidly growing golf cart dealership specializing in premium golf cart sales, service, and customization. We are looking for a motivated, experienced Golf Cart Service Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys solving mechanical and electrical problems, and wants to be a part of a company that values professionalism and teamwork. This is not an entry-level position. Starting pay is based on mechanical experience, diagnostic ability, and the ability to work independently.

PM Location:
Panama City Beach, Florida Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair primarily electric golf carts, some gas golf carts, troubleshoot advanced electrical systems, including Controllers, Chargers, Wiring, Battery systems, etc.
  • Install lithium battery systems and performance upgrades, Install accessories and customer upgrades.
  • Repair brakes, steering, suspension, and mechanical components.
  • Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and quality control.
  • Test drive and inspect completed repairs for safety and performance.
  • Accurately document repairs and parts used with a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
  • Communicate professionally with other employees and customers.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting golf carts as needed.
  • Help maintain the appearance of the shop, showroom, and property as needed.
Qualifications Required:
2+ years of mechanical repair experience.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, Trailer towing experience.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance .
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred Experience with any of the following is highly valued: Golf cart repair, Automotive repair, Powersports, Electrical diagnostics, Lithium battery systems, Welding or fabrication as needed and Golf Cart programming equipment.
