Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Small Engine Mechanic to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of small engines and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help customers get their equipment back in top shape quickly and efficiently, contributing to our reputation for quality service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse machinery, including power generation systems, lawn equipment, and other small engines. Duties Diagnose and repair small engines, for golf carts. Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, spark plug replacements, and tune-ups to ensure equipment longevity Troubleshoot electrical systems and conduct electrical diagnostics on small engines and related machinery Repair mechanical systems with precision using hand tools and power tools Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of equipment during repairs or installations while adhering to safety protocols Test repaired equipment for proper operation; perform quality checks before returning to customers Maintain detailed service records and documentation of repairs performed for each piece of equipment Qualifications Proven experience as a small engine mechanic or in a similar automotive or equipment repair role Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately Proficiency in electrical work, electrical diagnostics, and troubleshooting electrical issues on small engines or machinery Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment for precise repairs Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently throughout the workday Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism Join our team if you're passionate about mechanical systems repair, eager to develop your skills further, and ready to deliver outstanding service!
