Job Description:
Boaters Exchange, is seeking a quality conscious Boat Mechanic / MarineRigger with a strong work ethic. The responsibilities include any and all rigging duties including installing electronics and electrical products (trolling motors, chart plotters, pumps, battery chargers), installing boat gear (storage boxes, biminis), performing small boat structural repairs using a variety of materials (gelcoat, epoxy, laminate, starboard), programming electrical systems (gauges, steering, autopilot), performing trailer repair, rewiring 12 volts systems, and diagnosing problems with all the above.Qualifications:
Strong working knowledge of major brand Marine electrical and electronic systems, installation, maintenance and repair, and replacement. Technical knowledge and understanding of Marine electronics, installation and repairs. Ability to listen to instructions given by Senior Technicians. Skilled in using common hand tools, power tools and specialty tools. Strong communication and customer service skills.Requirements:
Strong mechanical knowledge, outboard motors, marine electronics and electrical systems Marine trade knowledge preferred, but will consider other mechanical experience - 2 years minimum Must be able to lift, carry and push up to 50 lbs Technical School Certificate Valid Driver's license Experience with Lightspeed a plusJob Type:
