Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Golf Cart Mechanic/Service Technician and become a vital part of our commitment to providing top-quality maintenance and repair services for golf carts, utility vehicles, and all-terrain vehicles. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of mechanical and electrical systems to ensure our fleet operates smoothly and reliably. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining high standards of safety, performance, and quality in every vehicle you service. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in automotive and powersports repair within a fast-paced, supportive environment. Duties Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using advanced tools to identify mechanical, electrical, and engine system issues on golf carts, utility vehicles, and all-terrain vehicles. Perform repairs including engine overhauls, brake replacements, suspension adjustments, electrical diagnostics, soldering, and assembly of vehicle components. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment efficiently to execute repairs accurately and safely. Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for each vehicle serviced to ensure transparency and accountability. Assist with routine vehicle maintenance such as fluid changes, tire replacements, brake inspections, and general tune-ups to optimize vehicle performance. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair processes clearly and offering recommendations for ongoing vehicle care. Support sales efforts by advising customers on maintenance needs and available upgrades or accessories for their vehicles. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or service technician background with a focus on golf cart or powersports vehicles. Strong mechanical knowledge of engine systems, electrical diagnostics, suspension components, brakes, and general vehicle maintenance. Experience with automotive diagnostics tools and electrical troubleshooting techniques. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and diagnostic devices essential for complex repairs. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling parts or vehicle components. Familiarity with all-terrain vehicle repair processes and golf cart operation is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills with basic vehicle troubleshooting capabilities. Customer service orientation with clear communication skills to assist clients effectively.
