Do You Thrive Working with Fiberglass? Are you the go-to person for clean layups, smooth gelcoat, and flawless finishes? Do you enjoy restoring vessels and refining industrial parts to spec? Role Overview As a Marine Fiberglass Fabrication and Layup Technician, you'll tackle a mix of marine and industrial projects—cutting and placing fiberglass materials, repairing FRP structures, and bringing surfaces to a professional finish while upholding strict safety standards. You Will Lay out, cut, and install fiberglass/composite materials Perform repairs on boats, vessels, and industrial components Apply resins, gel coats, and related materials Sand, grind, buff, and finish fiberglass surfaces Interpret blueprints, drawings, and written work instructions Maintain a clean workspace and follow safety policies and procedures What It Takes Previous fiberglass experience preferred Background in marine, shipyard, boat building, or industrial environments is a plus Comfort using hand tools, power tools, grinders, and sanders Ability to read a tape measure accurately High attention to detail and craftsmanship Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions Perks & Stability Competitive pay Weekly pay Overtime opportunities Benefits available Long-term career opportunities Work in a safety-focused environment with a respected name in marine and industrial composites.
