Job Overview Aqua Sports Marine is looking for a dependable, mechanically skilled Service Technician to join our team. We are especially interested in someone who understands how engines and mechanical systems work, enjoys diagnosing problems, and takes pride in fixing things correctly. Marine experience is helpful, but it is not required. Experience working on automotive, diesel, powersports, small engines, heavy equipment, or other mechanical systems may be a great fit. We will provide training on the specific marine engines, boats, and systems we service. What You'll Do Diagnose, repair, and maintain inboard and outboard marine engines Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, fuel, and cooling-system issues Perform routine maintenance, inspections, winterizations, and spring start-ups Install and repair boat components and accessories Complete work carefully, efficiently, and according to manufacturer standards Communicate clearly with the service team about repairs, parts, and job progress Help keep the service area organized, safe, and productive The Person We're Looking For Has a strong mechanical aptitude and an engine-focused mindset Understands basic engine operation and enjoys troubleshooting Can think through a problem instead of simply replacing parts Is dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn Works well as part of a team and is willing to help wherever needed Takes pride in doing quality work and finishing jobs correctly Can follow procedures and maintain accurate service records Has a valid driver's license and a clean driving record Is able to lift, move, bend, and work in and around boats Experience That May Transfer Well You may be a strong candidate if you have worked as an: Automotive or diesel technician Powersports, motorcycle, or small-engine mechanic Heavy-equipment, agricultural, or industrial mechanic Marine technician Mechanically skilled apprentice or trade-school graduate Why Join Aqua Sports Marine?
