Personal Watercraft (PWC) / Jet Ski / Jet Boat Technician - Yamaha & Rotax Marine Technician Quick Summary Performance East Inc is hiring an experienced PWC / Jet Ski / jet boat technician in Goldsboro, NC . We are looking for a skilled Yamaha marine technician / Rotax technician who can handle advanced diagnostics , marine electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical repair while bringing a true enthusiast mindset to the shop. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair Yamaha and Rotax (BRP) powered PWC, Jet Ski, Sea-Doo, and jet boat models Perform mechanical troubleshooting on fuel, air, ignition, cooling, steering, controls, driveline, and routine service systems Service and repair jet pumps , impellers, wear rings, and related components, including jet pump rebuild work Perform advanced marine electrical diagnosis using wiring diagrams, multimeters, parasitic draw testing, charging system checks, harness repair, and accessory installs Complete accurate, professional work order notes with findings and recommendations Communicate clearly with service advisors and management on repair status and customer concerns Help maintain a clean, efficient, high-performance PWC service department What We're Looking For (Required) Hands-on experience with Yamaha and Rotax engine platforms in PWC / Jet Ski and/or jet boat applications Strong marine electrical diagnosis and troubleshooting skills Confident mechanical diagnostics and repair ability — not just parts replacement Ability to read wiring diagrams and use diagnostic tools effectively Writes clear notes on work orders and communicates findings professionally Enthusiast mindset: rides, boats, follows the industry, and cares about performance and reliability Nice to Have Experience with Yamaha and Sea-Doo / BRP products Prior dealership experience as a jet ski mechanic , marine technician , or jet boat technician Manufacturer training or related certifications Performance accessory or aftermarket install experience
