Job Summary We are seeking a motivated Small Engine Mechanic to join our team and keep our customers' equipment running smoothly. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain small engines and related mechanical systems with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment operates at peak performance, supporting our customers' projects and operations. Responsibilities Diagnose issues and perform repairs on small engines including lawnmowers, chainsaws, trimmers, and other power equipment Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, spark plug replacements, and filter cleanings Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical systems and mechanical components Use hand tools, power tools, and other specialized tools to complete repairs Perform electrical diagnostics and electrical work on various engine types Test repaired equipment to ensure proper operation before returning it to service or customer use Skills Proven experience or service technician background in small engine repair Strong mechanical knowledge of engines, electrical systems, and mechanical components Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and electrical diagnostics Knowledge of mechanical systems repair Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving Ability to handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting safely and efficiently Join us if you're passionate about keeping engines running smoothly!
