Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Small Engine Technician, where you will be the go-to expert for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining small engines and related equipment. This energetic role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of machinery. Your mechanical expertise and troubleshooting skills will keep equipment running smoothly, providing exceptional service to our customers. Duties Diagnose and repair small engines using schematics and technical manuals Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, spark plug replacements and system inspections to ensure equipment longevity Troubleshoot electrical systems, wiring issues, and electrical diagnostics to identify faults accurately Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and mechanical systems repair techniques to complete repairs efficiently Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and parts inventory logs for all repairs performed Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and offering maintenance advice to clients Qualifications Proven dealership experience or service technician experience with small engines or heavy machinery Strong mechanical knowledge of engine repair, electrical work, schematics interpretation, and equipment troubleshooting Familiarity with automotive repair techniques and heavy lifting procedures Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering tools, and electrical diagnostics devices Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer-focused approach Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently in a busy workshop environment Embark on a rewarding career where your technical skills make a tangible difference! Pay:
$25.00 - $32.00 per hour
