Job Description

Firefly Moto is looking for an experienced, well-rounded motorcycle mechanic to join our small independent shop. We work on all makes and models of motorcycles and scooters , so strong general mechanical knowledge, diagnostic ability, and the ability to complete repairs independently are essential.
Responsibilities include:
Diagnosis, maintenance, and repair across a variety of makes/models Multipoint inspections and test rides Communicating diagnoses, parts needs, labor requirements, and job status with the team Motorcycle pickup/delivery Cleaning/detailing, parts and inventory, shop organization, and other general shop duties We're looking for someone who is mechanically knowledgeable, dependable, organized, communicative, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. A valid driver's license is required. Technical training/certifications are a plus, but hands-on experience and demonstrated ability matter most. Pay & Hours Repair work is paid $20-$30 per completed/billable wrench hour , depending on experience and skill, rather than a traditional hourly or salaried schedule. We anticipate roughly 20 hours of work per week on average , but hours are not guaranteed and will fluctuate with season and shop workload. Some weeks will be more; some will be less. Hourly non-repair shop work is also available for pickup/delivery, cleaning, organization, inventory, and other shop needs. There is plenty of opportunity for the right person to take on more hours and responsibility as the shop grows.
Bonus skills:
Customer service, service writing, parts sourcing, shop-management software, estimates/labor quoting, photography/social media, or other small-business experience. First and foremost, we need someone who knows motorcycles, can wrench, communicates well, and works well with a team, and is ready to grow with us.
