September through December A&A The Shop is looking for an experienced Tire Technician / Shop Hand to join our team for the busy winter tire season. This is a seasonal position running from September through December. We're looking for someone who already has tire-changing experience and can step into a busy automotive shop environment. Responsibilities Mounting and dismounting tires Balancing wheels and tires Removing and installing wheels Tire rotations Checking and adjusting tire pressures Moving, staging, and organizing customer tires Helping keep the tire and shop areas clean and organized Assisting technicians and shop staff as needed Requirements Minimum 1 year of tire-changing experience Experience operating a tire changer and wheel balancer Able to safely lift and handle automotive tires and wheels Dependable and punctual Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop Attention to detail and commitment to doing the job correctly Valid driver license Pass a drug test No personal tools are required. A&A The Shop provides the equipment and tools needed for the position. This is a great opportunity for an experienced tire technician looking for steady Monday-Friday work during Alaska's busy winter tire season. Position is expected to end in December at the conclusion of winter tire season.
