Starting pay:

$25-$30 per hour, depending on skills and experience, with room to earn more as you demonstrate quality work, independence, and greater responsibility. Confident with tires, comfortable with equipment, and good at figuring out what's wrong? We're looking for a capable, dependable technician who can take responsibility for a customer's vehicle, professional equipment, and a job done right. We provide a fully equipped service van, tools, and paid training on our mobile setup.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Mount, remove, replace, repair, and balance tires on passenger vehicles and light trucks. Inspect tires and wheels, check tire pressure, and perform TPMS service. Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, fluid replacement, and minor mechanical repairs within your qualifications and the capabilities of available equipment. Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and tire-service and diagnostic equipment. Answer customers' tire-related questions, explain findings, and recommend appropriate services. Safely lift vehicles and remove, move, and install heavy wheels and tires using available lifting aids and proper procedure s. Keep the van and work area clean, organize tools, and accurately document completed work.

QUALIFICATIONS

Hands-on tire-service experience at a tire shop, automotive repair shop, or dealership. Ability to independently mount and balance tires. Mechanical aptitude, an understanding of basic vehicle systems, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems safely. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools. Careful handling of vehicles, wheels, and sensors, including safe lifting and correct wheel-torque procedures. Ability to safely perform the physical duties of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation. Reliability, punctuality, and professional communication with customers in English. A valid driver's license. Driving the company van requires a driving-record check and approval under our commercial auto insurance. Willingness to provide professional references from previous employers who can speak to your hands-on skills, reliability, and work performance. Experience with TPMS, low-profile tires, and run-flat tires is a plus. Additional automotive maintenance and repair skills are welcome. Previous mobile-service experience is not required—we provide training on our mobile setup. Mobile appointments are the primary focus. The position is based at Nova Tire Center, with shop assignments between calls. Full-time and part-time arrangements considered. Schedule and weekly hours discussed during the interview.
