At Atomic Transport, we take pride in being a leading bulk hauling company headquartered in Chattanooga, TN. With a dedicated fleet of company-owned equipment and W2 drivers, we specialize in waste transportation from local transfer stations to landfills. Our fleet includes more than 600 tractors and 900 trailers, featuring equipment from Kenworth, Freightliner, Mack, and Western Star, powered by Cummins X15, MP-8, and DD-13 engines.

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Tire Technician based out of Villa Rica, GA , to support our growing fleet operations. This position will provide tire installation, repair, maintenance, inspections, and mobile roadside service for commercial trucks and trailers throughout the area. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety focused, and comfortable working independently in a mobile environment.

WHAT WE OFFER

Pay:

$22-$25 per hour , based on experience Weekly pay Overtime available at time and a half Monday-Friday schedule, with Saturdays as needed Paid Time Off (PTO) and holidays Paid orientation Company-provided mobile service equipment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Install, mount, dismount, repair, rotate, and service commercial truck and trailer tires Perform tire inspections for proper inflation, tread depth, wear, and overall safety Respond to mobile and roadside tire service calls as needed Provide tire service and maintenance at company terminals, job sites, and roadside locations Diagnose tire-related issues and determine appropriate repairs or replacements Maintain proper tire pressure and ensure tires meet DOT safety requirements Safely operate tire-changing equipment, hand tools, and power tools Maintain accurate records of tire inspections, repairs, replacements, and service calls Monitor tire inventory and communicate tire needs to management Keep the service truck, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and properly maintained Follow all company safety policies, DOT regulations, and proper tire-service procedures Provide professional and courteous service to drivers, terminal personnel, and management Work safely in various weather conditions and roadside environments

JOB REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED preferred Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial tire experience Experience servicing heavy-duty trucks and trailers preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation CDL-A or CDL-B preferred, but not required Ability to operate a mobile service vehicle safely Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check Working knowledge of commercial tire service and DOT requirements Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy commercial tires Ability to work independently and respond to service calls when needed Willingness to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
