The Certified Alignment Tech is responsible for overseeing all activity within our shop. They ensure shop safety guidelines are followed, paperwork is completed and maintain shop inventory, product, tools and equipment. Certified Alignment Techs supervises and certify tire technicians and ensures the quality of their work and regularly directs the work of full-time employees or their equivalents. Certified Alignment Techs complete all alignments in the store or oversee training of alignments to help certify tire technicians. Certified Alignment Techs are generally offered a full-time position offering a family atmosphere, great pay as well as future growth potential. We also offer affordable benefits with a 401k; paid holidays and we are closed on Sundays.Compensation:
$17.00 - $20.00/hr with potential to make between $45,000 - $65,000 with bonus. Requirements /Responsibilities:
- Ability to mount, balance, install tires & wheels.
- Use of tire and balancing machines
- Alignment Certified
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving history
- Professional proficiency in English
- Certified by the State of Michigan to perform 4-wheel alignments
Additionally:
- Overseeing all activity in the installation shop
- Place product and supply orders
- Organize delivered merchandise.
- Clean and maintain returned products.
- Maintained an organized inventory system.
- Must be able to lift and organize heavy products Prior experience as a tire technician, wheel specialist, automotive technician, auto tech, or an alignment tech is very helpful to the success at this opportunity.
