About the Role We are looking for a dedicated Commercial Tire Service Specialist to join our maintenance team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and operational efficiency of heavy-duty vehicles by performing expert tire maintenance and repair services. Responsibilities Execute professional tire installations, rotations, and comprehensive repairs on semi-truck tires to maximize vehicle uptime. Perform precise mounting and dismounting of commercial tires using industry-standard equipment. Utilize a variety of hand tools and pneumatic equipment to complete service tasks safely and efficiently. Maintain high standards of tire balancing and repair quality to ensure optimal road performance. Contribute to a safe shop environment by adhering to all established maintenance protocols. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience working as a tire technician, specifically with diesel or commercial vehicle tires. Demonstrated proficiency in tire service, repair, and balancing techniques. Ability to safely lift and maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs unassisted. Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using various hand tools. Preferred Skills Possession of a valid Class E driver's license or equivalent endorsement. Prior experience in a fast-paced commercial fleet maintenance environment. Advanced knowledge of heavy-duty tire safety standards and diagnostic procedures.
