We are looking for a skilled and reliable

•Wheel Repair Technician

•to join our team in a busy shop atmosphere. The Wheel Repair Technician will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, refinishing, and restoring automotive wheels to meet quality and safety standards. This position requires attention to detail, hands-on mechanical ability, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. ### Key Responsibilities Inspect wheels for damage, including bends, cracks, curb rash, corrosion, and finish defects Repair aluminum and alloy wheels using proper tools and techniques Perform wheel straightening, sanding, grinding, welding, filling, and refinishing as needed Prep wheels for paint, powder coat, polish, or clear coat finishes Match colors and finishes to customer or manufacturer specifications Mount, balance, and dismount tires when required Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all shop safety procedures and use proper personal protective equipment Operate shop equipment safely, including grinders, sanders, tire machines, balancers, and repair tools Communicate with management and team members regarding repair status and any additional concerns Ensure completed work meets quality standards before delivery to the customer Assist with general shop duties as needed ### Qualifications Previous wheel repair, automotive body, paint, or mechanical experience preferred but not necessary Experience with sanding, painting, polishing, welding, or refinishing is a plus Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Valid driver's license preferred Ability to lift wheels and tires and perform physical work throughout the day ### Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the workday Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. or more as needed Comfortable working around dust, noise, chemicals, and automotive equipment Must be able to wear safety glasses, gloves, respirator, or other PPE when required ### Preferred Skills Wheel straightening experience Automotive paint or refinishing experience TIG welding experience Tire mounting and balancing experience Knowledge of OEM wheel finishes and color matching ### Schedule Full-time position Shop hours may vary Overtime may be available depending on workload ### Compensation Pay based on experience Opportunities for growth and advancement available ### About the Role This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys automotive repair, takes pride in quality work, and can stay productive in a busy shop setting.
