Responsibilities Perform tire services including mounting, balancing, rotation, and repair to ensure optimal vehicle handling and safety. Conduct oil changes and automotive fluid replacements using standard hand tools and power tools efficiently. Utilize mechanical knowledge to identify issues, perform routine inspections, and support more experienced technicians with automotive repair tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards during heavy lifting and mechanical procedures. Communicate clearly with customers about service needs and provide excellent customer service throughout the maintenance process. Support automotive service operations by assisting with tire inventory management and ensuring all tools are properly maintained. Skills Prior dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred. Strong mechanic experience with a focus on standard passenger cars and light trucks. Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical repair, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in tire service and oil change operations. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during maintenance tasks. Excellent customer service skills with clear communication abilities. Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems combined with experience in fluid replacement techniques enhances your effectiveness in this role.
