Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tower Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications towers, ensuring optimal performance for 4G/LTE and 5G networks. This role requires working at heights and operating specialized equipment, including bucket trucks. The Tower Technician will play a crucial role in providing high-quality field service to our clients. Duties Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecommunications equipment on towers. Operate bucket trucks safely to access high-altitude work areas. Conduct cabling for both high voltage and low voltage systems. Climb towers as necessary to perform inspections, repairs, and installations. Utilize voltmeters and other diagnostic tools to assess equipment functionality. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during service calls. Requirements Proven experience in tower climbing and working at heights. Familiarity with bucket operation and safety procedures. Knowledge of cabling practices for both high voltage and low voltage systems. Experience with 4G/LTE and 5G technology installations is preferred. Ability to operate field service equipment effectively. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site. Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment as required. A valid driver's license is required; CDL is a plus.
