In these energetic roles, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining cellular towers and related equipment, ensuring seamless connectivity for millions of users. Employees will perform tower climbing and rigging operations to access elevated sites safely while adhering to OSHA safety standards and construction fall protection systems. R&S offers competitive wages and excellent benefits, including company-paid healthcare (post probationary period), per diem allowance for out-of-town sites, and a 401K match. Pay rates are dependent on experience and level at which an individual is hired. Prior telecommunication experience is required for anyone being hired beyond the Green Hand (Tech I) level. Individuals must be willing to accept travel assignments (typically M-F) throughout the Midwest, committed to working safely, and have a positive attitude and desire to produce quality work. Ideal candidates are located in the greater St. Louis metro area. Minimum requirements for all applicants Be comfortable climbing and working at heights and in various types of weather. Possess knowledge of basic hand tools and be able to use them effectively and safely. Be motivated to learn and follow detailed instructions. Be prepared to mentor those less experienced. High school diploma or equivalent. Pass initial physical and drug screen, and random future screens. Able to travel regularly and occasionally work weekends. Follow directions well and learn quickly. Be able to lift and carry 50 pounds. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the St. Louis shop. Completion of various safety trainings.
