Today Job Description Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Tower Crew Foreman to lead utility construction crews in the installation, maintenance, and repair of tower and related infrastructure. This role is responsible for supervising daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and meeting project deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship.Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct daily activities of tower construction crews, including assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of utility structures, towers, and related equipment.
- Enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with OSHA, company, and client requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timelines and quality standards are met.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including job reports, safety logs, and material usage.
- Train and mentor crew members, fostering skill development and career growth.
- Troubleshoot on-site challenges and provide effective solutions to keep projects on track.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of tower construction or utility construction experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or foreman role.
- Strong understanding of tower safety, rigging techniques, and industry best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred but not required.
- Must be able to relocate to Rapid City, SD prior to start date.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to climb and work at heights exceeding 200 feet.
- Capacity to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and travel as needed.
