We are actively hiring in the Inland Empire, Orange County and Los Angeles areas.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The traffic control technician is expected to maintain a safe work zone that ensures that traffic safely avoids workers. This involves setting up and removing temporary cones, signs, variable message boards, and safety barriers that show traffic where to drive, as well as holding up signs that tells traffic to either stop or to proceed slowly. Traffic control technicians must be constantly aware of both the construction and traffic activity taking place around them. Support project as Flagger as needed to create a safe work area Set-up signs, cones, etc. around work areas to divert traffic Follow all safety rules and regulations and wear proper safety equipment Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures Must be able to communicate to contractor employees, co-workers and supervisors All other duties as assigned
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete daily paperwork accurately Work well in a team environment Provide highest level of customer service to all customers Must be reliable and dependable to report to work
OTHER DETAILS
Traffic Control experienced is required Construction industry field work preferred Pay range is $18.00/hr. to $29.00/hr. will be determined based upon Traffic Control or Construction industry work experience with applicable field and safety Training / Certifications. Must possess a good driving record. Traffic Control is a 24/7 operation and applicant must be available to work varied shifts from time to time.
