TRACK STAFF

LEAD FOOT CITY

•Must be at least 18 years old to apply.

•Lead Foot City is looking for energetic, safety-minded Track Staff to join our team! If you enjoy cars, motorsports, working outdoors, and being part of an exciting race environment, this could be the job for you. Track Staff play an important role in keeping our racers, guests, and team members safe while helping race activities run smoothly and efficiently.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Track Operations & Safety Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic throughout designated track areas. Monitor racers and vehicles for required safety procedures and equipment. Verify that helmets and other required safety gear are properly in place. Ensure vehicle windows are in the proper position before racing. Remind racers to turn off air conditioning and follow all track safety requirements. Monitor assigned race zones and immediately communicate safety concerns. Help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient flow of race activities. Hands-On Track Duties Write and mark vehicle numbers as needed. Assist with adding water to the track and maintaining track conditions. Perform site cleanup and help keep track areas clear of debris and hazards. Assist with maintaining road surfaces and other track infrastructure. Perform other hands-on duties as directed by the Track Manager. Team & Guest Support Work closely with the Track Manager and other Track Staff. Communicate clearly using a two-way radio/walkie-talkie headset. Maintain a positive and professional attitude with racers and guests. Remain calm and focused in high-pressure or fast-moving situations. Help create a fun, safe, and welcoming experience for everyone at Lead Foot City.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate is: Safety-conscious and dependable. Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Able to stand and remain active for extended periods. Comfortable performing physical and manual-handling tasks. Able to work around extremely loud race cars and motorsports environments . Comfortable communicating over a two-way radio/headset. Able to follow instructions and safety procedures carefully. A strong team player with a positive attitude. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where situations can change quickly. Friendly and respectful toward racers, guests, and fellow team members.
