Join our team as a Traffic Controller and play a vital role in ensuring the safety of drivers, pedestrians, and construction workers. As a Traffic Controller, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a positive impact on traffic flow.

Duties:

• Direct traffic at construction sites or events to ensure the safe and efficient flow of vehicles and pedestrians.
• Set up and remove traffic control devices such as cones, barricades, and signs.
• Communicate with drivers and pedestrians to provide instructions and guidance.
• Monitor traffic conditions and adjust traffic control measures as needed.
• Report any incidents or safety hazards to supervisors or law enforcement.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a traffic controller or General roadway construction (6 months+)
• ATSSA or GDOT-approved Traffic Control Technician (TNT) certification
• Experience using Portable Message signs, sign installation, TC-1 reports, & any other certifications
• Experience with striping Requirements
• MUST have a clean driving record
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and stand for long periods of time.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Have reliable transportation
