Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Traffic Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of traffic flow on construction sites and other work zones. This position requires a strong understanding of construction site operations and the ability to communicate effectively with employees, clients, and the public. Duties Supervise direction of traffic using hand signals, flags, or other devices to ensure safe passage through construction zones. Monitor and manage the movement of vehicles and pedestrians around construction sites. Coordinate with construction crews to facilitate safe work practices while minimizing disruptions. Ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations and protocols at all times. Maintain clear communication with team members regarding site conditions and traffic patterns. Skills and Requirements DOT certification and large truck experience Supervisory Experience Strong understanding of construction site dynamics and traffic control measures. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members, clients, and the public. Ability to work in various weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety protocols. Strong problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during operations.
