Full-Time DPW Worker Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Full-Time Department of Public Works (DPW) Worker to support our community's infrastructure and public safety. This role involves outdoor work in various weather conditions, performing highway maintenance, snow plowing, salting of roadways and sidewalks, and operating heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will adhere to safety protocols, manage traffic control during work zones, and utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to ensure the smooth operation of public works projects. Responsibilities Perform outdoor maintenance tasks including highway repairs, sidewalk upkeep, and general infrastructure improvements. Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, plows, and salt spreaders for snow plowing and salting of public roadways and sidewalks. Conduct traffic control for work zones to ensure safety for workers and the public. Use hand tools and power tools to complete various maintenance and repair activities. Follow all safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment. Assist with snow removal operations during winter months, including plowing, salting, and de-icing public roads and sidewalks. Support other public works activities as assigned to maintain community infrastructure efficiently. Experience Prior outdoor work experience is preferred, especially in highway maintenance or related fields. Experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, snow plows, or salt spreaders is advantageous. Familiarity with safety procedures related to outdoor construction and public works projects is essential. Ability to handle hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Strong understanding of traffic control procedures during work zone operations is desirable. Salary Range:

Starting Range of $20
