General responsibilities include Making mechanical and welding repairs to heavy equipment Welding of wear components on trailers, truck beds, dragline components, loader buckets, blades, etc. Rebuilding mechanic components (pumps, gearboxes, final drives, valves, etc.) Working on hydraulic and pneumatic systems Build hydraulic and pneumatic hoses (training supplied) Working with supervisors and other employees in a positive manner Willingness to get dirty and learn Must have adequate experience in Stick, mig and flux core welding, air arcing and oxyacetlyne torch cutting Heavy plate welding Working on hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems on heavy equipment Using power tools and come alongs
