FULL TIME

Flaggers Role and Responsibilities:

Set-up traffic control closures on roadways according to the Work Area Protection Manual. Control movement of vehicular traffic on active roadways using signage and hand signals. Install various types of traffic control devices including signs, 4x4 & 6x6 wood post, & permanent signs. Maintain a high level of safety at all times while working in the roadway as well as on the property.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Certifications :

High School Diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, MVR check.

NOTE:

Eure Inc has a random drug screening policy. Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds•-VDOT

CERTIFICATION IS A MUST

Other Important Duties:

Must work overtime as required. May be required to work weekends, after hours and special events. Maintain access to ports, bases and other limited access facilities Travels to job sites and to attend meetings, conferences and training. Performs other related duties as assigned.
