Job Description

We are looking to hire EXPERIENCED, dedicated and observant flaggers to monitor the flow of traffic around construction sites as well as providing safety to pedestrians and drivers. You will use signs, cones and other forms of traffic control to ensure a safe work environment. Duties Direct pedestrian and vehicular traffic in a safe and efficient manner Standing on cement and various surfaces for extended period of time, in weather elements including; exposure to hot and cold temperatures while controlling a signaling device (paddle) Place and maintain traffic control devices Perform basic maintenance on traffic control devices Other duties as assigned Qualifications Must have a valid Washington Flagger Card or a TCS card. Must have a dependable car. Flaggers will be required to travel to various job site locations that may not be on public transportation routes. Must be atleast 18 years of age Ability to bend at the waist, stoop, squat and bend at the knees as required on a regular basis. Ability to reach above head including; full upper mobility Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Knowledge of traffic control laws and regulations Must be able to carry out specific instructions and to communicate quickly and effectively with other team members.
