Job Description

```Job Summary``` We are seeking a skilled and Certified Traffic Controller to join our team. As a Traffic Controller, you will be responsible for directing traffic at construction sites and ensuring the safety of both workers and the general public. Your role will be crucial in maintaining a smooth flow of traffic and preventing accidents or delays. MUST have Flagger Certification before applying. ```Responsibilities```
  • Direct traffic at construction sites, following established protocols and safety guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with construction workers, drivers, and pedestrians to ensure safe passage
  • Set up and maintain traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barricades
  • Monitor traffic flow and adjust signals as needed to optimize efficiency
  • Report any incidents or hazards to supervisors or appropriate authorities
  • Assist with the maintenance and repair of traffic control equipment
  • Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies ```Skills``` To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
  • Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as Caterpillar, dump trucks, graders, bulldozers, front loader trucks, backhoes, and loaders
  • Knowledge of paving techniques and materials
  • Strong understanding of traffic control procedures and safety protocols
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively direct traffic and interact with others on the job site
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate placement of traffic control devices
