Job Description
Westech Industries is looking for a qualified CDL Aerial Lineman in telecommunications construction to join our team as a full-time employee based out of our Redding location. Candidate must have knowledge of industry standard aerial cable installation procedures and techniques including the placement of poles and anchors, familiarity with a wide range of tools and equipment. Must have the ability to read and understand prints/maps, safety procedures and operating instruction expertise with aerial conditions. Joint pole work experience a must. Minimum of 2 years of experience in working in all temperatures, climates and weather conditions. Various work will be out of a bucket and off hooks, so pole climbing is required. Work may require out of town travel (hotel and per diem paid), after normal business hours and on weekends, depending on customer needs and emergency response work.
