Description The Third Taxing District Electrical Department (TTD) is seeking a Qualified First-Class Line worker to join our team. TTD's 2 ½ mile service territory is located in East Norwalk, CT and provides safe and reliable electric service to our 4300 customers. Candidates' main responsibility will be installing, maintaining, and repairing the District's 5kV overhead and underground distribution systems as well as working with our Substation Crew in our 115kV and 27kV substations. TTD provides a strong benefits package including health, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, retirement plan and well-paid time off packages. Applications will be accepted until June 5, 2026. Requirements Successful candidates must be available for Call-Time, have a Class B CDL and live within thirty miles of the District. Must have normal eyesight with or without corrective lenses, normal hearing with or without hearing aids, speak and write English, mathematical abilities, be able to carry a department supplied phone 24- hours per day, seven days per week when on call, a neat and well-groomed appearance, no physical or psychological impairments
