VHE Field A/V Technician:
eBryIT is seeking an experienced A/V Tech who is experienced in more carpentry-based installation projects and has the availability to travel to projects around the Wood Dale and Chicago, IL area. Extensive knowledge of IT principles, methodology, and the mechanical understanding of both machines and tools would be excellent skills in this role. Projects will also rely on strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail in order to communicate effectively between our clients and technicians. When the A/V installations are slow, you have the option to work at our warehouse/configuration center in Wood Dale, IL to assist with computer configuration type of work. Do you have experience as a Construction Worker, Carpenter, Electrician or Audio-Visual Technician and computers? If so, you would be a great fit for this particular opportunity! Monday- Friday. 8am-5pm.
Job Responsibilities:
The use of basic tools such as allen wrenches, screw drivers, power drills and ladders. Climbing up ladders and lifting devices for installation. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. or more on a daily basis. De-installation services for existing classroom equipment. Installation services for ActivePanel boards and mobile stand up (up to 86"). Asset Tagging. Move equipment between buildings and floors. Offsite trash removal. Coordinating with team for optimal productivity. Willing to ravel to different schools in Wood Dale and Chicago, IL for installations. It is essential for employees to have the ability to work independently with little guidance. Skill at managing own time and personnel resources. Must have your own reliable transportation. Valid drivers license and auto insurance. Good driving record over the last 3 years.
