The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for two Line Mechanics to join our Overhead Services team. Reporting to the Overhead Services Manager, you'll be responsible for safely providing line maintenance, line construction and fault repair services across our network supporting the reliable delivery of electricity services to customers. Working as part of a skilled and supportive team, you'll help ensure our work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest industry standards. Got what it takes? • New Zealand Line Mechanic Registration or Electrician Registration
• A full New Zealand Class 1 Manual Driver Licence. Class 2 - 5 are desirable
• Experience in overhead electricity distribution construction and maintenance
• Strong commitment to health, safety and wellbeing
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with team members
• Good organisational skills and the ability to think clearly under pressure
• Physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in a range of weather conditions and at heights

qualifications or willing to obtain

• Live line glove and barrier qualifications and experience will be looked upon favourably, along with previous fault response and high voltage construction experience
