Position Information:

Our ideal Lineman candidate must have extensive knowledge in all areas concerning aerial cable procedures and techniques. This requires the ability to follow blueprints & maps, safety guidelines, operating instructions, utilize a wide range of tools and equipment, all while leading his crew members. Qualifications Must have 3-5 years experience in Placing Strand, Coax, & Fiber Construction A valid, unrestricted driver's license (Commercial driver's license preferred but not required) Must have reliable transportation, be dependable and punctual Due to the nature of field work, this position may require overtime, working on weekends, holidays, and the possibility of being called in during off hours We are an outside plant construction company, it is mandatory to work outside in the varying elements year round Able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs as needed with or without assistance Please provide an up to date resume and professional references Responsibilities Proficient in the installation and repair aerial telecommunications cable Safely utilize tools and machinery; bucket truck, climbing gear, digger derrick, excavators, hand tools and more Must manage the job site, and ensure all daily data is reported properly Establish a safe work perimeter using; signage, cones, safety barriers, and ensure traffic is flagged if needed Understand separation and clearance regulations Flexibility to work in multiple locations Ability to travel when travel is required This job standardly pays productions rates, the more you complete the more you make. However, an hourly wage is also possible. $1000 to $2500 weekly
