Utility Meter Specialist - Entry Level $20.00-$22.00 per hour | Washington, NC | Full-Time No Meter Experience Required — Paid Training Provided! Concord Utility Services is hiring Utility Meter Specialists to join our field operations team in Washington, North Carolina . This is an entry-level outdoor position where you'll begin by installing and servicing residential water meters , with opportunities to expand into electric meter installation as the project progresses. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Install, remove, and service smart water meters Learn and perform electric meter installations as the project expands Travel between residential locations throughout the project area Use handheld devices and our Work Order Management System (WOMS) Replace or repair meter boxes, lids, fittings, and related equipment Use basic hand tools and equipment Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements Communicate professionally with customers and your team Meet daily productivity and quality expectations Maintain company tools, equipment, and work areas Don't have utility experience? No problem. We'll train you! What We're Looking For We're looking for people who are: Dependable and reliable Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather Hands-on and willing to learn Safety-conscious and detail-oriented Comfortable working independently Professional when interacting with customers Able to follow instructions and established procedures Motivated to meet productivity and quality expectations Required Qualifications Must be 18 years or older Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment screening Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical fieldwork Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
