Duties & Responsibilities Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on overhead cranes and hoisting equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues Repair or replace components including motors, control systems, wiring, and sensors Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards Identify and mitigate potential hazards in the workplace Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare service reports Communicate findings and recommendations to supervisors or customers Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and other team members Skills & Qualifications Diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Electrician, or related field Red Seal Industrial Electrician certification (preferred) Minimum 3 years of experience in crane maintenance or industrial equipment repair Strong knowledge of electrical systems including PLCs, VFDs, and motor controls Ability to read electrical schematics and technical manuals Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills High attention to detail and organizational skills Working Conditions Industrial and construction environments Ability to work at heights and lift heavy equipment Flexibility for overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed
