Job Description
JOB TITLE

$37.32Scheduled Work Hours :
Monday- Friday, 7:00 am
- 3:30 pm.
Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
Assists LevelII & III
Technicians in the maintenance of wind turbines. Inspects and maintains electrical and mechanical systems as directed. Assists with the troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of all types of instruments and controls. Performs turbine fault resets as training allows. Performs progressively skilled work as assigned. Completes all initial and periodic safety training. Daily adheres to all safety protocols when completing all work including regular completion of safety documentation and working under lockout tagout (LOTO) procedures. Uses the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for entering time, completing work orders, entering work order comments and creating work requests. As knowledge and skills are developed opportunities to pursue LevelII & III
qualifications may become available. Performs similar and related work consistent with the general nature of this job classification such as: Performs housekeeping duties as assigned Performs turbine fault resets as training allows Performs low voltage repairs (600V and below) Performs gearbox oil changes as training allows Operates hydraulic torque wrenches as training allows Assists in performing alignments of components as training allows Performs Turbine Startup/Shutdowns as directed Performs tasks as assigned by Supervisory staffExperience :
Must possess good mechanical ability, an electrical background a plus but not required. Willing to work at heights, physically fit to climb on a daily basis. Successful completion of training programs or related experience must be documented.General :
Must be licensed to drive as required by state law. Must be willing to reside within 30 miles of the Spearville Wind Energy Facility. Must be willing to work in a teamwork environment.Essential Job Functions :
Must be able to perform all essential functions as identified by the Company. Must be physically able to climb vertically 270 feet on a daily basis and able to complete work outside and inside at heights of 270 on a daily basis.Education :
