Field Installation Technician - Bus Antenna & Modem Replacement ESP Enterprises, Inc. | Kansas City, MO About the Project ESP Enterprises, Inc. specializes in the removal and installation of low voltage public transportation equipment throughout the US, working with primary contractors such as Cubic Transportation Systems and Conduent Transportation Solutions. For this project, we will be removing existing antennas and modems from transit buses and installing new equipment on behalf of our end client, Paygusus, at the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority (KCATA) in Kansas City, MO. Position Overview We are seeking hands-on Field Installation Technicians to remove and replace roof-mounted antennas and modems on KCATA buses. Antennas are located on the roof of the bus, so climbing up and down a ladder is a must. Caulking experience is preferred.

7 weeks
Start Date:
ASAP — no later than 7/20/2026
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 PM - 4:00 AM (subject to change to a day shift if KCATA prefers)
Pay:
$26-$28 per hour Responsibilities Remove existing antennas and modems from transit buses Install and secure new antennas and modems Climb ladders to access roof-mounted equipment Apply caulking/sealant to ensure weatherproof installations Follow all safety procedures and quality standards Requirements Comfortable climbing up and down ladders and working on bus roofs (required) Caulking experience (preferred) Prior low voltage, electrical, or equipment installation experience (a plus) Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work overnight hours Required Tools (technician-provided) Drill with 2 batteries and charger Phillips and flathead screwdrivers (or multi-screwdriver) Standard socket set (up to 9/16") Standard wrench set (up to 9/16") Standard Allen wrench set Utility knife Tool bag Required PPE Safety glasses Work gloves
