Now hiring an experienced Lead Chimney Technician to run residential chimney installation, chimney relining, fireplace installation, and appliance venting projects from start to finish. You'll lead the job site, direct a crew of chimney technicians and apprentices, and be the primary point of contact for the homeowner. Monday - Friday with some Saturdays What You'll Do Lead and perform residential chimney installations, chimney relining, stainless steel liner installs, chimney repairs, fireplace installations, and appliance venting for gas, woodburning, and pellet appliances. Supervise, coach, and train chimney apprentices and technicians on installation technique, tools, and job site safety. Assign daily responsibilities and keep every project safe, efficient, on schedule, and to company quality standards. Inspect work throughout each project for quality, safety, and compliance with manufacturer specifications, company standards, applicable building codes, and

NFPA 211.

Communicate professionally with homeowners — answer questions, explain the scope, and give project updates through the full installation. Make sure materials, tools, ladders, and equipment are on the truck, properly maintained, and used safely.

Enforce all safety policies — fall protection, PPE, ladder safety, and rooftop job site procedures. Identify additional repair opportunities and customer concerns, and bring recommendations to management. Build a crew culture rooted in professionalism, accountability, safety, and craftsmanship. What You Need (Required) 3+ years of hands-on experience in chimney installation, masonry, fireplace or hearth work, venting, roofing, or a related construction trade. Proven leadership experience directing a field crew or installation team. Working knowledge of chimney systems, venting systems, fireplaces, and applicable building codes. Comfortable working at heights on ladders, scaffolding, and rooftops, and able to safely lift 50+ pounds. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Able to pass a background check and drug screening. Nice to Have (Preferred) CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep (CCS) credential. NFI (National Fireplace Institute) certification — gas, wood, or pellet specialist. Experience with chimney relining, crown repair, tuckpointing, flashing, waterproofing, and damper or firebox work.
