Site Safety & Setup:

Sets up safety cones, signs, and traffic control to secure the work area. Performs a visual inspection of the site before work begins. ​

Equipment Management:

Unloads, maintains, and checks the safety of equipment like chainsaws, leaf blowers, rakes, ropes, and the wood chipper. Feeds ropes and other equipment up to climbers using a "tag line." ​

Debris Removal & Wood Management:

Rakes and cleans up all brush, limbs, and debris created by tree work. Loads branches into the wood chipper and cuts up larger logs into manageable pieces using a chainsaw. ​ Support for

Aerial Work:

Assists climbers and aerial lift operators by receiving trimmed branches, clearing paths, and communicating effectively using hand signals or radios to ensure safe and efficient operations. ​

Tool Handling:

Uses tools like leaf blowers, chainsaws (at ground level), rakes, shovels, and log loaders to clean and manage materials. ​

Site Cleanup:

Ensures the job site is completely clean, removing all traces of debris, wood chips, and equipment before leaving. ​

Communication:

Maintains constant communication with the crew to ensure the safety of everyone on site, especially when branches or logs are being lowered.

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 45.0 per week
