General Description We are seeking a Maintenance Manager who combines strong leadership capability with hands-on technical expertise. This role is responsible for leading the maintenance function while actively supporting equipment reliability and troubleshooting on the production floor. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable developing maintenance strategy, leading a team, and stepping in to resolve complex mechanical or electrical issues when needed. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute the overall maintenance strategy to improve equipment reliability, uptime, and cost efficiency. Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Oversee maintenance and repair of all production, warehouse, and facility equipment. Supervise, schedule, and develop maintenance personnel, driving accountability and performance. Provide hands-on technical support for troubleshooting and resolving complex equipment issues. Analyze equipment performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Partner with all departments, including, kitchen, fabrication, harvest, and warehouse to coordinate maintenance activities. Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and purchasing. Support capital projects including equipment selection, installation, and startup. Ensure compliance with OSHA, GMP, HACCP, and USDA regulations. Promote and enforce a strong safety culture.Requirements:
Qualifications 5+ years of maintenance experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibility. Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and facility systems. Proven ability to both lead a team and perform hands-on troubleshooting and repair. Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance systems. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of OSHA, GMP, HACCP, and USDA standards. Strong communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Onsite role in Carlton, OR. Active, hands-on role in a production environment. Ability to lift to 60 lbs and perform physical tasks including walking, standing, pushing, and pulling.
