Experienced Maintenance Mechanic with hands-on expertise in industrial equipment repair, electrical troubleshooting, welding, and preventive maintenance. High SchoolResponsibilities Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production machinery, bagging machines, conveyors, pumps, motors, compressors, and facility equipment. Troubleshoot and repair automated bagging and packaging equipment, including sensors, conveyors, sealers, fillers, and control systems. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems to minimize equipment downtime. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including motors, wiring, relays, switches, sensors, and control panels. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding for equipment repair, fabrication, and structural modifications. Fabricate machine parts, brackets, guards, and supports as needed. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production and packaging equipment. Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance calls. Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and parts inventory. Follow OSHA regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and company safety policies. Assist with machine installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
