DESCRIPTION

Located in Somerset County, Matheny Medical and Educational Center has an opportunity available for a Full Time Maintenance Mechanic. This position is five days per week, Monday-Friday.

Duties of this position include:

Repairs and maintains mechanical systems, including electrical, plumbing and heating. Maintains a neat and orderly appearance of all grounds and buildings. Sets up tables, chairs, and other items for various functions as needed. Picks ups various supplies, parts, and building materials and delivers items to various locations as needed. Assembles and installs equipment as necessary. Completes preventative maintenance checks according to schedule and documents/reports as required by regulations. Provides on-call service on a scheduled basis. Completes maintenance work orders. Maintains working knowledge of all emergency systems and procedures including fire alarm procedures. PM22 POSITION REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.

Licensure/Certifications:

New Jersey Low-Pressure Boiler Operator's License (Black Seal) preferred. Certified Pool & Operator (CPO) preferred. ASHE Certified Health Care Physical Environment Worker (CHCPEW) preferred. New Jersey Driver's license required. CFC/Universal Certificate, Type II, 40-CFR, Part 82, Subpart F, preferred
